We had an awesome day with Isaac today! He sat up, rolled over front and back, crawl, and he began to talk...in Russian of course. He was so happy today! We were able to change his clothes and his diaper before we took him to play, and then we were able to put him down in his crib for his nap after playing...that was very special! He is starting to teethe, so we bought him a teether yesterday...we figured out the when he bites down on the side, it vibrates, and HE LOVES IT! He really loves to jump and be mobile.
We were told today that we are going to be able to finish this adoption in just two trips. All of our paperwork is going to the judge on March the 5th and then she will set a court date. Typically court dates are set 10 days out. We are allowed to leave as soon as this court date is over...after this, there is a two-week waiting period for the child's family to come and find him (even though he was abandoned and they can't find mother), and after that, he is ours and our coordinator will start getting his paperwork together (i.e. His Kaz passport, and a few other things). When she has these in hand, she will call us and tell us to buy our visas again and come back to Astana. We will come, pick Isaac up and fly to Almaty where we will have his US Embassy medical exam and his Visa processing. From the day we pick him up, he is ours...he lives with us, travels with us, and everything!!!! WE CANNOT WAIT! After about 2-3 days in Almaty, we will by flying home! So, we're praying that God will allow us to travel during Spring Break as to not miss any more school than necessary. Middle of April, this should be complete!!!
We cannot wait to travel home (except for the leaving Isaac part) and begin preparing all of his things for him! We are so excited! He is so beautiful, and he's such a Godsend! We love him!!!
God has worked out so many incredible details...we are so thankful for how He has blessed us so much more than we deserve! Praise God!

What an answer to prayer that you will be able to finish everything in 2 trips. It will be great to know that once you go back Isaac will be yours forever!!!
We continue to pray for all three of you and look forward to the day when we can meet Isaac face to face.
Love the pictures!! Jordan was sitting on my lap when I was looking at the pictures and he kept pointing to Isaac and saying "baby"( it was very cute)
Love you,
Bill, Shelly, Jared, Allison and Jordan
